Celje, April 4, 2025 – The third day of the Youth Choir Festival in Celje featured inspiring performances by choirs from Slovenia and abroad.  Concert programs delighted audiences and impressed the jury.

🎶 Children’s Choirs (Elementary Schools):
The professional jury awarded three silver and three gold diplomas in this category.

Silver diplomas were awarded to:

• Youth Choir of Maks Pečar Primary School, Ljubljana – Črnuče (83.3 points)
• Youth Choir of Šempeter Primary School (85.3)
• Youth Choir “Mavrica” of Tišina Primary School (86.0)

Gold diplomas went to:

• Youth Choir of Glasbena Matica Ljubljana (90.0)
• Youth Choir of Alojzij Šuštar Primary School, Ljubljana – Šentvid (92.3)
• Youth Choir of France Bevk Primary School, Tolmin (94.7) – highest score in the category

🌸 Girls’ Choirs:

Bronze diploma: Horos Vocal Studio Choir from Ćuprija, Serbia (78.7)

Gold diplomas:

• Gruppo Vocale Garda Trentino, Italy (90.7)
• Pražská kantiléna, Czech Republic (93.0)

🌍 Mixed Youth Choirs:

• Bronze diploma: VVV Vokál from Veszprém, Hungary (72.3)
• Silver diploma: Die Primaner from Berlin, Germany (86.0)
• Gold diploma: Mixed Youth Choir of the First Gymnasium in Celje (90.0)

In addition to the competitive concerts, all choirs participated in public performances like “Minute for a Song” and the festive “Choirs to Choirs” events, which strengthened connections and created a truly unforgettable festival atmosphere.

The festival continues on Saturday with even more music, joy, and inspiration. 🎵
